Gear pump Systems
The VMI-AZ COMBEX EXTRUDER is a cold feed extruder - gear pump system. It is optimized for processing a wide range of rubber compounds used for:- Precision blank manufacturing
- Profile extrusion
- Pelletizing
- Straining applications
- Feeding of calendars or moulds
- Silicone extrusion
The volumetric operating gear pump delivers a very precise output of ± 0.4%. This allows the Combex system to produce highly accurate rubber preforms with cutting provided by a fully integrated and servo-driven knife.
Combex Systems for rubber preformThe typical preformer types are the VMI-AZ Combex 45, Combex 60, Combex 90 and the Combex 120.
Combex Systems for straining applications
The typical strainer types are the VMI-AZ Combex 120 and the VMI-AZ Combex 150, with the specific size based on the mill room output requirements. The VMI-AZ Combex strainer systems are also in operation for high output silicone-rubber applications.
To meet customer’s output requirements, the VMI-AZ Combex systems are offered in different sizes:
